We are truly saddened to report that Dale Earnhardt Sr. was killed on the very last lap of the Daytona 500. Earnhardt was blocking traffic and defending the lead of his team car when he lost control and crashed nose first into the concrete wall.
Emergency workers believe that the severe head and neck injuries killed Dale instantly.
Our thoughts and prayers remain with the Earnhardt family.
