There's still life in the old girls: The entry list is up for the 2001 Rolex 24 at Daytona. Interestingly, there are at least three Porsche 911 GT1s entered in the GTO class (over 5.0litres or turbocharged). The Porsche being entered by Gunnar Racing appears to be the ex- Champion Racing 1997 spec 911 GT1. So far it appears that the old 911 GT1s are being over-regulated. The extra weight will make it tough to compete.
