The year 2000 saw the rise of Audi as the manufacturer to beat in Sportscar racing. However, Panoz fans were overjoyed at the release of the all new Panoz LM/P 07 roadster. So stunning is the design of the new car that many expect Panoz to be the only manufacturer capable of challenging Audi in the 2001 season.
Time will tell.
What remains certain is that the venerable Panoz Esperante

GT1 will remain a fond memory for many Sportscar fans. This stunning machine is without a doubt the car that made Panoz a fan favorite.
